Bio

Born in Lugano and raised in the Como area, I began playing the piano at the age of five. It wasn’t until later in life that I realized my true passion was music, particularly jazz, and decided to dedicate my life to it.

From 1999 to 2002, I attended the Musica Viva Jazz Workshops in Sondrio. Between 2003 and 2008, I earned a degree in jazz piano from the Civic School of Milan, studying under Paolo Birro and Franco D'Andrea.

After completing a Master of Science in Sound Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, I worked as an IT developer in Milan for two years. However, during that time, I developed a dream of pursuing a full-time career in music.

To further my jazz education, I enrolled in the Jazz-Schule at Jazzcampus Basel, where I completed my Master of Arts in 2012, studying with Malcom Braff, Hans Feigenwinter, and Walter Jauslin.

Basel has since become my artistic home. Here, I lead projects featuring my original compositions and arrangements and collaborate as a sideman with talented local jazz musicians, including Roberto Koch, Cedric Gschwind, Andrea Nydegger, Lucio Marelli, Oliver Pellet, Alex Hendriksen, and many other remarkable artists.
